On the north side of the town is an interesting bay Bošana, while on the south is the famous bay Soline, surrounded by pine forests. Apart from its indented coast, beautiful beaches and numerous natural beauties that surround it, the town of Biograd also offers numerous sights and attractions.

Nautical tourism and navigation

Biograd is located on the most indented part of the Croatian Adriatic coast, so it offers many opportunities for nautical tourism and sailing. Its bays and beaches are perfect for sailing and diving. For those who have no experience in these water sports, numerous courses allow just about anyone to explore the open sea or the underwater world.

The city of Biograd is internationally known as a port that has traditionally hosted the Biograd Boat Show, the largest boat fair in Central Europe. Every year, the Biograd Boat Show hosts more than 300 registered exhibitors and 300 vessels, over 1,500 charter vessels and about a hundred used vessels.

A ferry sails from Biograd to the island of Pašman, which opens up another possibility for a full day trip "into the unknown". The island of Pasman will enchant you with its untouched beauties.

History, culture and entertainment

If you are looking for an active vacation, Biograd will not disappoint you. As one of the major historical and cultural centers of Dalmatia, the city has a long tradition of cultural events, as well as a large selection of interesting historical and cultural sights.

During the summer months, there are many cultural and entertainment programs, as well as sporting events. Traditional open-air folk and fishing festivals, combined with a top-notch catering offer of cafes and bars, guarantee a good time for all generations.

In addition to the famous Biograd tennis courts, which are located next to one of the largest tennis camps in this part of Croatia, various sports tournaments and competitions are regularly held at various locations in the city.

For the youngest, there is also Fun Park Mirnovec - a place that guarantees fun for the whole family and offers themed games and attractions, such as Pirate City and the Wild West.
