General Terms and Conditions of Business and Use of Services

Hotel Bolero

 

Hotel Bolero, hereinafter: the hotel, places and sells hotel services in accordance with the published conditions, descriptions, dates and valid price list, and in accordance with the confirmed reservation or contract, in its own name and for its own account. An agency or a tour operator can appear as the client of the service for the end user, and the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions apply to them as intermediaries.


By sending a reservation request, you confirm that you agree with the General Terms and Conditions of the hotel and the same becomes a legal obligation. When providing services, the hotel applies the rules prescribed by the house rules, hotel and catering practices, and in accordance with the applicable positive legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia.


CATEGORIZATION

The facility and accommodation units within the hotel are categorized by the authorized bodies of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia in accordance with applicable legal regulations. The hotel does not take responsibility for oral or written information that is not in accordance with the description of services and the facility itself in the published programs, and obtained by a third party. The hotel is not responsible in case of inaccurate information from business partners.


RESERVATIONS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

Inquiries and reservations are accepted through the hotel's website, by post or in person at the hotel reception. By reserving capacity through the website, the user declares that he accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Business and use of services in full. All of the following becomes binding, both for the service user and for the Bolero Hotel. When reserving capacity, the service user is obliged to provide all required information. In order for a reservation to be considered valid, the service user guarantees the reservation with a valid credit card. We use the credit card exclusively as a guarantee of the reservation. Payment is made at the reception upon arrival, by credit card or cash, unless otherwise stated. The property reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards in advance. The personal data of the guest, as well as the credit card data, are completely protected. Data transfer takes place via a security server. All reservations via the online reservation system are considered valid only after confirmation of the reservation by the central sales office of the hotel Villa Dubrovnik. Notice / confirmation of reservation must be presented to the reception upon arrival at the hotel. The reservation can be confirmed online or by e-mail. All services are charged at the hotel reception before the guest leaves. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property. Hotel is open 0-24.


ACCOMMODATION TAX

In accordance with the regulations governing the payment of the sojourn tax, the user of the service is obliged to pay the sojourn tax when paying for hotel accommodation. The amount of tourist tax in the Republic of Croatia varies according to the season and destination. Children up to 12 years do not pay the residence tax, while children from 12 to 18 years have a 50% discount. The amount of the sojourn tax is paid when paying the total cost of the reservation. The amount of paid sojourn tax is indicated on the invoice issued during the calculation and payment of the service. The amount of the sojourn tax is determined by the Government of the Republic of Croatia.


PRICES OF SERVICES

The price of the service is the amount per person or per day, as stated in the price list of services. Additional services are not included in the price, and the hotel guest pays extra. Hotel Bolero reserves the right to change the prices of services at any time. For customers who have paid a deposit or provided an acceptable booking guarantee, the hotel guarantees the prices that were in force when the booking was made. Prices and conditions according to the valid kuna price list at the reception are valid for stays without a reservation. The price includes breakfast and VAT. All payments will be made in HRK. If you use a credit card from a foreign issuer for payment, the price expressed in HRK will be converted into the local currency in which the foreign issuer issues an invoice for the costs charged to the credit card. This conversion will be performed using the exchange rate agreed between the foreign issuer and the credit card user and therefore there is a possibility of deviation of the amount for which the credit card will be charged from the original price listed on the hotel website. Pets are not allowed in the Bolero. Extra bed is charged extra per night per person, at a price of 80% of the basic price per night per person. A baby cot for children up to 3 years old is available at a price of approx. 36 kuna (5 EUR).


ACCOMMODATION IN THE HOTEL

The layout of the rooms is determined by the reception in the place of stay. If the guest has not explicitly agreed on a room with special features, he will accept one of the officially registered accommodation units from the catalog and price list. Accommodation in the room is not possible before 2 PM on the day of use of the service, and it must be vacated by 10 AM on the day of use of services. Arrivals after 8 PM must be announced in advance. Otherwise, the hotel does not guarantee the possibility of performing the service, unless otherwise stated.


HOTEL BOLERO'S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

Hotel Bolero reserves the right to change the reservation or the manner of providing services, in the event of circumstances that cannot be foreseen, avoided or delayed. The confirmed accommodation unit can be replaced by an accommodation unit of the same or higher category while retaining the same price that was valid at the time of booking confirmation and timely informing the guest about the change. In cases where alternative accommodation cannot be found and the reservation is paid in advance, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation and refund the amount paid in full.


THE RIGHT OF THE GUEST TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION

In case the guest wants to change or cancel the reservation, he must do so in writing (by e-mail, post or fax). If the change of reservation is not possible, and the guest cancels the confirmed reservation, the conditions of cancellation apply, as follows:


16.7. - 13.8.

Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge.


1.1. - 15.7. and 14.8. - 31.12.

Cancellations up to 7 days before arrival are free of charge.


Canceled reservations after the stated deadlines before arrival are charged in the full amount of the price of the stay. There is no refund option. Non-arrival of the guest, early departure or shortening of the stay are charged in the full amount of the price of the entire stay. There is no refund option.

 

RESERVATION CONDITIONS

The credit card used to pay for the stay at the hotel is charged in the full amount of the price of the stay, in Croatian kuna according to the exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of payment.

The price includes VAT and breakfast. Tourist tax is not included. It is charged per person and per day. In case the card is invalid, the hotel reserves all rights to cancel the reservation.

 

OBLIGATIONS OF HOTEL BOLERO TOWARDS THE USER OF THE SERVICE

The obligation of the hotel is to constantly take care of the quality of the service provided, in accordance with legal regulations, rules of the profession and generally accepted customs in the tourism and hospitality industry. The hotel will endeavor to fulfill its obligations in full, except in the case of events beyond our control.

 

OBLIGATIONS OF SERVICE USERS

The user of the service is obliged to obtain and possess all personal documentation required upon arrival and departure from the accommodation units of the hotel. The user of the service is obliged to adhere to the house rules prescribed by the Hotel Bolero. Prior to arrival, the service user is obliged to check the visa regime between the Republic of Croatia and the country he comes from, and to check whether he needs an additional travel document to enter and stay in the Republic of Croatia.

 

RIGHT TO OBJECT

If the services from the offer are not performed in accordance with the stated criteria, the guest has the right to file a written objection to the services provided. The guest has the right to complain about the unpaid paid service. Each guest - the holder of the confirmed reservation, submits a complaint separately. The guest is obliged to cooperate with the staff of the accommodation unit in good faith in order to eliminate the causes of the complaint.


Complaint procedure:

The guest is obliged to advertise the inappropriate service at the reception or inform the hotel via e-mail: recepcija@hotel-bolero.hr or submit a written complaint by mail to the address: Ivana Meštrovića 1, Biograd na moru, 23210, Croatia.

 

JURISDICTION

All disputes or disagreements will be resolved in a manner acceptable to both parties, and if no solution can be reached, the arbitration of the territorially competent court shall be accepted.


FORCE MAJEURE

The guest and the hotel are released from the performance of their contractual obligations if circumstances occur that are considered "force majeure", if such circumstances persist and affect the performance of contractual obligations, which is described in more detail below.



The term "force majeure" means unusual and unpredictable events beyond the control of the parties. Such events include (for example) war, threat of war, demonstrations, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist attack, government decisions and / or presidential decisions and / or parliamentary decisions (eg border closure decisions, on the ban on leaving the country of residence, decisions on any bans related to travel outside the country) and other similar circumstances.


The Client may be released from obligations due to "force majeure" in any sense only if he is prevented from fulfilling the obligations of the Agreement, and he is unable to realize substitute arrangements, after taking all necessary measures. A hotel may invoke "force majeure" when it is prevented or associated with great difficulties to achieve safe accommodation, when the hotel believes that the health, comfort or pleasure of the client is endangered and when the safety of guests and employees could be endangered.

 

OTHER ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS

Check-in is possible after 2 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out from the hotel is possible until 10 AM on the day of departure.


The hotel reserves the right to deny the stay and other services to those guests whose conduct in any way is not in accordance with the house rules of the hotel, which disturbs the peace and dignity of other guests or staff, or which endangers their safety or well-being.

The hotel does not accommodate persons under the age of 18 unaccompanied by an adult.


Any complaints or grievances of guests, the hotel will take into account only if they were sent during the stay, either on the spot directly to the responsible person in the hotel, or through the agency that made the reservation, or through an official representative.

The management reserves the right to close a certain part (pool, terrace, etc.) in case of necessary repairs and necessary maintenance or seasonal closure during the winter period.
